In the Blink of an Eye

I was looking back over pictures of my daughter tonight. She is only 31 months old but I can totally understand when people say to be careful because they grow up in the blink of an eye. It seems like yesterday that she was born and now she is 31 months old. Where does the time go?
Also, does anyone have an good ideas for potty training a very independent little girl?

Toys R Us

My daughter is finally at an age where she can look at something in the toy store and really know that she wants it. We took her to two toy stores the other day, just looking, and it was so much fun to watch her look around and really want stuff. So sorry for her that she wont be getting MOST of that stuff but it is still fun for me to watch. I remember Service Merchandise catalogs when I was little-I used to go straight to the toy section (which was huge) and I would look and look and look some more....great memories!! Does anyone else remember Service Merchandise?

"Want Some"

Why is it that she wants to taste everything that we have but when it comes to sitting down to eat something, forget it....
She always says "want some" and she may like it, but if I try to go out and buy that thing at the grocery store, she wont touch it. Toddlers are funny, funny creatures....

Vocabulary

It is amazing and scary at the same time some of the things that come out of the mouth of my 2.5 year old. Very clear things...What is scary is the fact that she doesnt know what they mean and yet she still says them. How can they be so smart? The best part is when you try and get upset with them for something they have done and then they turn around and say something so clever-you can't help but smile....
